The following are the names of the proud winners who represented Bengal at the official event :-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>GOLD MEDAL<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Rupkatha Dutta : U-21 Female Kata<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Debayush Mitra, Shantanu Rajbanshi &amp; Aritra Mitra : Junior Male Team Kata<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>SILVER MEDAL<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Shivam Poddar : U-21 Male Kumite -55kg<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Lopamudra Adhikary : U-21 Female Kumite -61kg<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Raja Rabidas : Junior Male Kumite -50kg<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Bipasha Paul : Cadet Female Kata<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Piuli Maity : Cadet Female Kumite +61kg<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>BRONZE MEDAL<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Rizong Tamang, Bikram Prajapati &amp; Ayushman Roy : Senior Male Team Kata<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Debanjali Karmakar, Ankaona Das &amp; Sohini Chatterjee : Senior Female Team Kata<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Smritikana Sikari : Senior Female Kumite -50kg<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; Saswata Patra : U-21 Male Kumite +84kg<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the event all the players, coaches and officials representing KAB were given the following by KAB:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8211; A Medical Insurance of Rs. 200000\/- each for all the players representing Bengal.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8211; A Sponsorship of Rs. 3000\/- each for all the players and 5 (five) officials.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8211; A Sponsorship of Rs. 5000\/- each to all the 4 (four) coaches.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8211; The Participation Fees of all the players.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8211; T-Shirts &amp; Tracksuits for the players and coaches respectively.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cKarate Do Association of Bengal has always supported the players, coaches and officials who represent Bengal at the official events. Moreover, it is for the first time that all the players were given a Medical Insurance of Rs. 200000\/- each. I am ecstatic with the results and performance shown by the Bengal players at the Championship amongst tough competition.\u201d \u2013 Hanshi Premjit Sen (President of KAB).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hanshi Premjit Sen<\/strong> is the first Bengali to become the Referee &amp; Judge of World Karate Federation (WKF) &amp; Asian Karate Do Federation (AKF) both. He had also achieved the most prestigious \u201cBronze Pin\u201d awarded by the WKF for his contributions in the field of Karate DO as a Referee.<strong><em>\u201cWe are proud of our players who had shown immense grit and determination for this event. KAB had in the past supported all the players and will continue this in the future too.
